Modular Exhibition Stand Systems
Redblu design bespoke exhibition stands using a variety of modular exhibition systems. Unibox, Linx, T3, beMatrix, ISOframe, Octanorm and Ultima. Historically, the modular exhibition stand systems made from aluminium were just a step up from standard shell schemes. Stands were designed using posts and horizontal joining beams. These created a grid effect of metal that allowed rigid foamex graphics to be used as infill panels. You would see the metal work a bit like on this stand below which was designed by Reed.
Gone are those days now though! You can hide away all the metalwork if you want by cladding the stands with graphics.
This Mobile Guardian stand is an example of stretch fabrics covering the framework
This stand for Glow shows the framework being covered with foamex and ACM graphic panels
These stands designed by Linx show polyester fabric graphics, lightboxes and rigid graphics to create different effects.
The best thing about these display systems is that they are reconfigurable and reusable
as they are completely modular they are easy to adapt designs to make the kit fit into different spaces. You don't even need to buy them as Redblu have a large rental stock which can save you £££'s.
In our view the only downside for these systems is the connectors. They are a pain to use and in our opinion are not suited to self build exhibitors! So you will need the full design and build service with these stands.
We loved the fact we can use acrylics in these types of stands and create really interesting effects. This Unibox stand for Medical Supply company Covidien (now taken over by US giant Medtronic) uses clear blue acrylics as well as opal acrylics with cut vinyl logos applied. There is a clever connector to attach them to the backing system to create depth and a 3d custom look.
The Colibria stand is built using the Linx System and you can see how effective the front pillars are when adding backlighting to them to make the display pods really pop.
